Hortus Botanicus Nursery in Ft. Bragg

Alas, Hortus Botanicus is no more. We just discovered this in June 2013. I will leave up these pictures as a remembrance of a great nursery.

The thing that Kasma enjoys most in the world is most likely gardening. At another time I'll put up some of the pictures of the beautiful garden she has created surrounding our home. In support of this passion, a favorite activity is visiting nurseries, to see what plants are available and to see what plants might fit in her own garden.

These pictures were all taken by Kasma and myself when we visited the nursery in May of 2006. When we visited in April of 2009 we found the display gardens had not been maintained. When we wanted to visit in 2013, we found that it was closed.
