Ayuthaya Ruins
Ayuthaya was the Thai capitol in the 18th century when it was destroyed in a war with Burma. At the time, it was one of the most beautiful and developed cities in the world (as seen through the eyes of European visitors). The ruins are now spread out through the city and we'll visit several on our visit.
