This picture taken at the restaurant Krua Nakhon in Nakhon Si Thammarat is a fairly typical vegetable platter that is served with meals in the South of Thailand. It includes everything from winged beans (lower left), cucumbers, long beans and basil to astringent leaves (upper light). The dishes contain three different kinds of pickles.
