Phu Phrabat Historical Park, Udon Thani

This Buddha is not in a temple but rather carved in stone at Phu Phrabat, one of several places in NE Thailand where there are strange and wondrous rock formations. Wedged in amongst the rocks he calmly sits, open to sun and wind.
